Work Placement & Development
We offer work placements for various qualifications in Early Years. Whether you are retraining after a career change, moved to the UK from abroad, or simply continuing your education at college, we’re the right place for you! If you are just entering this industry, there are Level 2 and 3 qualifications offered to you to start your career; if you are an experienced Early years practitioner you can progress your career further with a Level 5 management course, foundation degree or teaching degree.

Early childhood studies (ECS) and related degrees
Teaching qualification
The nursery is run and supervised by the owners who worked in the childcare sector for the last decade. We are hoping to establish a friendly and knowledgeable team who will be supporting our curriculum for holistic development and outdoor learning.
Successful candidates should have experience working in a childcare setting and have a good knowledge of the children’s development. For our robust Staff Safer Recruitment procedure candidates should make sure they have a clear Enhanced DBS check, valid Passport and Right to Work in the United Kingdom; be able to provide two proofs of address and at least two last employers details for the references.

These are the basic criteria to meet all roles:
- Be a Key Worker
- Promote children’s welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
- Have a Full & Relevant Early Years qualification Level 2, Level 3 or above
- Support our bespoke and holistic learning approach by planning daily fun and educational activities
- Have a good spoken and written English
- Be positive and friendly, being able to work alongside the team to ensure the East Wick Kids philosophy is fulfilled
- Be active in all kind of activities including inside, outside and the woodlands
- Be responsible and collaborate to the day-to-day running of the nursery
- To assisst in promoting equal oportunities and the inclusion of children with special educational needs and disabilities
- To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for all children
- To liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members
